We hope you’re sitting down as what we are about to say may come as a shock: men and women are very different. Please take a moment to absorb this information.
These differences go far beyond anatomy, physical characteristics or hormonal make-up. Men and women also differ greatly in how they speak, the way they think, what they value and how they perceive the world. Yet we are forced, as humans, to make it work or face extinction. Kind of jacked up, huh?
In fact, men and women actually have so little in common that they might as well be from two different planets. John Gray, PhD, author of a series of popular relationship novels, made famous the concept of men being from Mars, a planet named after a mythological god known for his valour, military success and masculinity and women being from Venus, named after the goddess of love and beauty. As Dr. Gray’s story goes, both species defected from their respective planets and are now trying to figure out how to share their space on Earth.
Though the inter-planetary nature of how men and women relate has only been known for a couple of decades, the fact is that we’ve been confusing the hell out of each other since the beginning of time.
What this site seeks to do is provide you a point-blank answer to some of the strangest and most disconcerting behavior of the opposite sex by letting Mars ask why the hell women do certain things and having Venus provide answers…and vice versa. Venus will never tell Mars he “should know what is bothering her” and Mars promises not to ignore Venus’ questions, even if she seems to be nagging.
Since it looks like Martians and Venusians will be forced to co-exist on Earth for a little while longer, you can consider us your personal spaceship into the mind of the opposite sex.
Enjoy, our alien friends!
